Who I am :
Hi ! I’m Joshua, a Systems & Cloud Engineer at Prorexem, and — for a little while longer — a student, finishing an MSc in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Management at CESI. Two titles for the same instinct: I like knowing why something works, and I like it even more when I can prove it will keep working under pressure.
Most of what I do lives underneath the surface of other people’s businesses — the migrations nobody notices when they go well, the audits that quietly decide what a company is allowed to promise its own clients. I’ve come to prefer that kind of work. The best infrastructure is invisible, and I’d rather be the reason for that than the exception to it.
What I do :
Cloud migrations and the security work that has to come with them — ISO 27001 and HDS audits, identity hardening, the unglamorous discipline of compliance in sectors where getting it wrong has real consequences.
Lately, more of my time goes toward AI: building tools on Azure AI Foundry, standing up self-hosted model infrastructure, and helping clients figure out what artificial intelligence should actually mean for them, rather than what it’s fashionable to say it means.
Provenance :
I came to cloud and security by way the networks and telecoms BSc from Université Grenoble Alpes that taught me to think in dependencies before I ever had a name for “infrastructure.” Everything since has been an extension of that same question: what happens when this fails, and who notices first.
Outside of work, I read, I play tennis badly enough to stay humble, and Cycle, I’m usually already thinking about the next race. More about that on the next page…
